I found the iceberg chunk of glass on the shore of lake Ontario in 1980. Driftwood in Humber park boat slip 10 years ago.The other glass pieces collected in a sky scaper in the city core. The odds of finding driftwood occurring  with a wallarus face ?,a piece with two faces !!,now factor in a passing human, astronomical.  The gathered items melded together in my studio 4 years ago.It was really satisfying to see the result of 35 years of waiting ......

Spruce burl........embryo/embillical cord

The mount of this "Watcher" is a ceremonial food vessel turned on end........

The ancients believed that all creativity came from above... "off planet"... and the artist was occupied "In-Spirit". Today we know the word "Inspired".
